In the glass, we find a fresh and spicy wine, with sweet memories of cherries and cinnamon and refreshing tones of tobacco leaf, black pepper and wild berries. In the mouth it is round, elegant and silky, with an aftertaste dominated by the fruit in liquor and the roasted tones derived from its aging.

Viña Ardanza Reserva, one of the most emblematic wines of La Rioja, presents the 2009 vintage. Viña Ardanza Reserva 2009 it is the second vintage to include Grenache in its blend, which gives it even more elegance and finesse. Luis Gutierrez, taster of the Robert Parker guide in Spain, has awarded it 93/100: "Initially it was closed, shy and serious, mature and a little darker than 2008, but it is very balanced, serious and harmonious."
Great classic for some, safe value for others, Viña Ardanza Reserve it is a wine that surpasses fashions and styles. After 75 years of existence, it remains faithful to its quality, making the appropriate changes to adapt to climate change and the terroir, as it has done on this occasion by adding grenache to its coupage. More than a Rioja, it is a great wine.
